Tena

Tena was created for the needs of the economic activity of the Arteco Pavletić association, and was inspired by the family connection with Kozarčevo Tena. This sculpture is a combination of the age, toughness, longevity and importance of the olive tree and the universal beauty of the female body. The basic idea was for the tree to remain as much as possible as nature created it with all its scars, but also to breathe life into it as a discarded tree with our intervention. The sculpture is not varnished, but polished with wax so that the edges are as prominent as possible and so that people can experience it with their sense of touch.
