Old captain

The sculpture is made of Slavonian oak, about 30 cm high. The sculpture was made for the needs of social entrepreneurship. The original/model is made from a mixture of sawdust and wood glue, and this is one of the duplicates. The wood copying machine we have cannot make the object more precisely than 70-80%, so the rest of the processing is done manually using the micromont tool. The idea was to make the face of an old man whose face would show wrinkles and a hard life, but also still will and strength. This is also a technique that I often teach young people, i.e. how to use a micro tool to make sculptures, various objects, jewelry, souvenirs, etc.
