Light from the past

One night ten years ago, I dreamed that I was in an old cemetery that was neglected, the monuments on the graves were already destroyed and weeds were overgrown. The cemetery was located on a hill, but lower than the small village, which was also already abandoned, and over the hillsides, the only light from a few windows poured towards the cemetery. It was pitch dark, and at the same time strong moonlight that partially illuminated the hill and part of the cemetery. I sketched it and a few months later painted it with acrylic paints on a 60×60 cm canvas. A year or two later I found out that it was the place from which my ancestors came to the place where I live now and I didn’t dream about it by chance.
